On Thursday 5th of July a Group of 16 new padel players reunited to participate in the I Beginners Padel Tournament at Coronel Sports, Huizen. Organized by Norberto Nesi, Director of Padel Benelux bv, the tournament featured a group phase and simple elimination draw dividing beginners in two subgroups: A & B. The goal of the tournament was to introduce new padel players to each other and play as many fast matches as possible.
The champions of the Beginners A category were Marcos Peralta & Dennis Ijzerman who defeated Bart Ravelli & Myrthe Huizenga by 6-3
For the beginners B category Beatriz Lopez and Bart Weiland defeated Wilbert Swinkels and Sebastian v/d Bijl for 6-3.
