From the 17th to the 19th of September 2010 Tennis and Padel TEZ organized their first padel championshp, in Enschede.  The tournament was organized for TEZ members and people concidering a membership at TEZ. About one 100 prospective new members participated in the tournament.

In the tournament participated 6 female teams and 18 male teams.  The ladies played 5 matches, within one group phase. The gentlemen were organized in 4 groups. The group winner and runner-up moved to the next phase. The other teams continued through a “loosers draw”.

The matches were held during Friday from 19.00 to 12.00 and Saturday and Sunday from 09.00 to 18.00. The finals were held on Sunday.

The finalists and runners up were:

DD Class 1

1. Deanne Eleveld + Tine Simons

2. Daphne Best + Pieterse Emily

HD klasse 1

1. Adam Belkhadir + Herman Tip

2. Paul Pothast + Jos ten Voorde

Further, TEZ is planning to organize its first Open Padel Tournament.  The dates are to be announced.
