“For me the Junior World Championship is the most important event organized by the International Padel Federation.  Padel is growing all over the world and it will continue to grow but we if don’t continue to stimulate kids to play from an early age, padel will not grow as we want it.  For that reason, we will make this the best Junior World Championships in the history of Padel…”, Luigi Carraro, President IPF.

Many of today best professional padel players in the world initiated their international careers in the Youth World Championship, including Paquito Navarro, Franco Stupaczuc, Marta Ortega, Ariana Sánchez, Juan Lebron, Federico Chingoto and Juan Tello.

Holland will participate for its first time in the event.  The Nederlandse Padelbond is inscribed both in the girls and boys competitions.  A pre-selection team was recently announced by National Team Coach Ewan Watson.
