More than 40 enthusiastic people participated in the Open Padel Tournament organized by TEZ Enschede. The tournament was a big success.
Vincent and Justin Eleveld defeated in the semi-final Samir and Adam Belkhadir. On the other side of the draft, Coen Beltman and Gert-Jan Kortman surprisingly defeated the chilenean Sebastian Dobbs and the argentine Norberto Nesi in three sets. The final was for Vincent and Justin Eleveld (6-3, 6-3).
It is remarkable that Gert-Jan Kortman, national tennis champion for the category seniors (40+) and Justin Eleveld, champions of the Australian Open for the junior-doubles category participated in the tournament.
In the ladies category Dean Eleveld and Tine Simons where the champions. Sylvia Hagenaar and Anneke Zocca where the runner-up.
The final for the losers draft was won by Toni Bagur and Marco Peuk. They defeated Ronald Ketelaar and Rudolf Nikenhuis (7-5, 1-6, 7-6).
